WHAT WILL THE PROGRAM LOOK LIKE?
Upon acceptance, each student in the virtual and in-person cohorts will be matched with a current UVA student who will serve as a mentor for the student, keeping in contact with them over the summer and answering any questions they may have leading up to the program. The mentor will also be available to answer any remaining questions after the program as needed.

Kelly Wai is a third-year student from Virginia Beach, Virginia majoring in Neuroscience and on the pre-med track, along with a minor in Computer Science. In addition to HFL, she is is a supervisor for Ceramics Club, a part of Challah for Hunger, and is involved in research. In her free time, Kelly loves drawing, reading, and playing badm

He is also involved in research and serves as a P2L Coach for Calculus 1. In his free time, Vinith enjoys playing basketball and spikeball, going to the gym for weightlifting and calisthenics, and spending time with friends.
